Our Story

HIVEMINDED Marketing is home to your local Next Generation Marketers. Like the bees that inspire our name, our hive is here to grow your business so you can grow our community.

Hiveminded stems from years of planning and resilience, but our story is not without dark days. In March 2020 our founder and CEO Sheri Walsh heard a knock at her door. It was 1:30 am. Officer Chris Walsh would never come home. In the months to come, Sheri’s world and our shared goals threatened to crumble. Then she received an insurance check and a choice. Invest in out-of-state businesses and other people’s dream, or bet on our talent and grit?

Risking it all, she bet on us. And, guess what? Here we are, over a year later. For all of you who supported us through this hard journey, we thank you!

We Are Hiveminded Marketing.

We are united in our passion to:
Use our experience and skills to create powerful marketing campaigns that deliver data-driven results you can see.

Empower our clients with unique, Next Generation Marketing solutions while they sit back and watch their business grow.

Uplift the community through acts of service and consistent giving.

Did You Know?

In our first year we gave three businesses start-up funds, offered several struggling owners free marketing, and made several donations to local non-profits.
Combining all that together, we invested over $17k in our community.

Who We Are

Our team is made up of next-generation marketers and leaders. We are passionate about creating long-term strategies for our clients, challenging ourselves, serving our community, and having fun while doing it. Are you ready to meet the team?

Sheri Walsh

Our CEO values people and their goals. She has a talent for spotting talent. You can trace Sheri’s professional journey through a winding path. Originally hoping to be a writer, creating ad copy was a step in the right direction. She quickly developed a knack for research and an intuitive understanding of marketing strategy. Before starting Hiveminded, she deliberately learned from experts in the industry with the intent of starting a unique marketing agency. We love her vision. When she isn’t leading the team, she enjoys reading, writing, and learning photography with her daughter. You can expect her to offer you food, send you new songs she hopes you love, and pick up random hobbies for the thrill of learning something new. Her friends know her best for her amazing mashed potatoes recipe, ability to make a new friend every day, and her remarkably movie-like dreams.

Frances Stallcup

Our President of Client Relations is an example of what it means to work hard and have fun. Her energetic spirit and no-excuses attitude keep us motivated and laughing. Frances survived domestic abuse, opened new career doors while a single working mother, and always kept her dreams in front of her. We love her resilience. When she isn’t busy networking or meeting with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family. You can expect big family dinners, movie nights on the couch, and new Tik Tok videos featuring her teenage daughter. Her friends know her best for her amazing eye makeup, her ability to fall asleep on command, and her remarkably good homemade salsa.

Bethany Dean

Our Vice President of Marketing and Communications is passionate about leading her team and helping small businesses grow. Bethany earned her BS in Public Relations at MSU. Originally taking a position as an unpaid intern to get marketing experience, her boss quickly pointed out that she was the hardest worker in the room. That focus fueled her climb to the top of the marketing department, specializing in public relations, social media, and email marketing. When she isn’t busy helping our clients envision long-term marketing strategies, she enjoys reading, spending time with her pets, visiting local breweries, and shopping. Her friends know her best for her sweet smile, iced coffee addiction, and always knowing the best places to eat. Want to know more? We are all friends here.

Parker Lawson

Our Design Lead values creativity, collaboration, and freedom of expression. Parker taught himself how to use design software at an early age and offered graphic design tutoring in high school. Parker earned an Associates degree in Behavioral Science and will finish his Graphic Design degree in May. Parker always brought leadership and design skills to his work before joining the Hive. When Parker isn’t overseeing the design department or re-envisioning the way we use our systems, Parker loves to spend time in nature, learn how to cook, and play video games. Parker’s friends know him best for his laid-back personality, his love for the environment, and his use of the fundamentals of psychology when designing.

Kindra Bates

Our Account Coordinator values personal goals and meaningful connections. She has always been a trailblazer. Kindra earned an Associates degree in Business from OTC and a BS in Marketing from MSU as a first generation college student. In her program, Kindra gained a multitude of valuable knowledge and experience within the industry. When she isn’t communicating with clients or researching service opportunities for our Hive, Kindra loves going to amusement parks, seeing movies at the Alamo, and checking out local restaurants. Her friends know her as an extrovert who welcomes introverts with open arms. She is passionate about fostering animals, and you can always count on her for pet advice.
